Being Your Own Advocate
When it comes to living with multiple sclerosis (MS), there are many ways of connecting with people who may share your experiences, questions, and concerns. As you know, sharing information is one of the best ways of finding solutions and support for living better with MS.
Whether you're simply curious about TYSABRI, considering switching therapies, or you've been taking TYSABRI for a while, there are lots of ways to connect with people who have chosen TYSABRI therapy:
- The TYSABRI Mentor Program lets you select someone like you, who will answer your questions, listen to your concerns, and share his or her personal experiences.
- Live MS events provide a great opportunity to learn the latest information about TYSABRI while meeting people like you face-to-face. TYSABRI Patient Advocates speak about what TYSABRI treatment means to them, and live Q&A sessions give participants the chance to learn more and share in other people's insights.
- Our Teleconference Series is a convenient way to get up-to-the-minute information. Listen to a panel of TYSABRI users discuss their experience via telephone. You can submit your own questions to be answered during this informative event.
-
Our Webinar Series allows you to dial in on your phone to hear a healthcare professional discuss treatment information, as well as log on to the Internet so you can view the slide presentation on your home computer. Each webinar allows full participation between the healthcare professional and the participants, who can actively participate by submitting questions anonymously during the Q&A session.
Topics include the potential benefits and risks of treatment and tips for living with MS. You'll also hear people who are on TYSABRI treatment share some of their experiences.
- MS support groups give you the opportunity to meet and talk with people who share some of your experiences.
- Using the Internet is both a powerful tool for finding information on MS and an effective way to connect with others through online MS communities
